Set amongst the Mile Away’s 3 acres of gardens and next to our own quarry is our beautiful 40 by 100 foot white Century tent with arbor window sidewalls. The tent is decorated with a garden theme. We have a beautiful antique hutch, full built in bar, an artificial turf floor, elegant lighting with paper lanterns and a built-in 350 square foot parquet dance floor. There is also a bathroom cottage located next to the tent housing men’s and women’s bathrooms, a handicap bathroom and small vanity room.
Tent Facility Fees
We host wedding receptions in our tent for 100 to 200 guests. Our tent facility fee is priced by the day of the week and includes use of our 40 x 100 tent, round tables, white wooden padded chairs, white linens, lighting, heaters and all tableware and glassware.
Time Frame: Tented weddings are for any 6 hours if the ceremony is held here, 5 and 1/2 hours if arriving from an off site ceremony. On Fridays and Saturdays weddings must end by 11 p.m. Sunday weddings must end by 9 p.m.

Packages with cold and hot hors d’oeuvre add ons are available from our menus. There is an extra charge for hors d’oeuvres
Our full service bar is available for your wedding reception. We can work with you to set up a bar for any budget. We can set up an open bar where we run a tab for you throughout the day or a cash bar where your guests buy their own drinks. You may run an open bar for the cocktail hour only or set a dollar limit on your open bar. Wine service during dinner is also available. There is a $200.00 charge for bartenders for a cash bar. We waive the bartender fee if there is an open bar of $1000.00 or more during your event.
Our wedding package includes a champagne toast, our food stations with 9 different choices for your guests and a wedding cake made by Frederick’s Pastries for $48.00 pp + 9% state tax and 19% tip
Booking a wedding at the Mile Away
To book a wedding we require a $1000 nonrefundable deposit. At our wedding meeting where we discuss the details for your wedding we require a second $1000 deposit. Final numbers for your wedding are due 2 weeks before your reception and the final bill is due one week before.
